live food supplier

anyone know of a place to get a variety of live shelled foods for my mantis ? besides hermits and snalis.......also for my dogface puffer and trigger.....thanx

what kind of bait? freshwater crayfish? how often can you feed these to the mantis ? I would'nt think they are good for him.

I took a live steamer clam that was bought at the grocery store and split it open and my mantis grabbed it and had a feast.

You can buy live Manila Clams in any asian supermarket. They are saltwater and will live for a long time. I also put those in my non-mantis tanks and they've been alive for more than 6 months now. If you put them inside a mantis tank, they will bury themselves but the mantis will find them by digging.

I'v used ghost shrimp. The mantis seemed to enjoy hunting these. They are freshwater but live 3-4hours in saltwater without a problem it seems.

yeah, those are available sometimes to me. I was hoping somewhere to get some crabs, you know the bad kind that hitch onto liverock, or some cheap hermits. What about cockle, live that is ?? anywhere??
