Thanks for the plug..

I started my culture using Reef Nutrition's Phyto Feast (concentrated). They sell a Phyto Feast Live (which I didn't know when I started). The regular worked OK and I just split my first culture a few days ago.

I followed Melev's recipe: www.melevsreef.com
You can follow my adventure following the link posted in the previous post.

Hi guys. Thanks for the info. I am still looking for some places that sell the materials, that are used by places such as Florida Aqua Farms, on the West Coast or some LFS stores in SoCal. Anyone know of any?

I bought all of Nicole's stuff a couple of months before she moved. I doubt I will use it realistically. I am not even sure what half of it is. I am in OC, if you are interested.

I don't think you need much in terms of supply material. Aside from starter culture, all I needed was an amount of F/2 and a density measuring stick from Florida Aqua Farms, and it kept going for about 6 mo, then I restarted the batch. I don't culture anymore and can sell my F/2 & density stick for cheap. I only used a few spoons of the 1kg bag, its enough to dose a backyard swimming pool. Shipping is okay too. PM me if interested or any questions you have - though my experience is limited to a year's worth of nanocl. culturing.

I am going to be starting up three 12L continuous culture towers (Nanochloropsus, Tetraselmis and Isocrysis) sometime in the next month or two. If you want, we could pool resources on cultures/media and probably save some $$.
