looking 4 Cheap/free Kenya tree frag

I've got a shisseload of Kenya trees. Either $5 or free with the purchase of another coral. I'll be home this weekend if you wanted to come by and check out what you'd like a frag of. I've got a bunch of softies and SPS as well. Just lemme know.

All right but your going to owe me a frag. PM me. I will be around on the weekend. Davie. SR 84 and 136 st. OR I can bring it to the next meeting. For $5 I will mount it to a rock for you.

But to be fair to Eric, he does live far but if you plan on spending a good amount of cash on frags he has some nice stuff...
Everything I have bought from him has done great.

No offense, chef, but didn't you have all your stuff in buckets last weekend? I can't believe your system has recovered so quick that you're looking to re-stock it. One of the most important lessons learned in this hobby (and the toughest to stick to) is patience. IMO you should look to improve your system first before adding more livestock.

no offense to you but my system is fine now. i just had to big of a bio load and the problem has been fixed. i have never had anything die on me since iv been doing this hobby and that was the first time. i knew i had to big of a bioload at the time as well thats why i was already planing on getting this 75 gal. problem solved. a lot less fish now and a bigger system. plus i set up a sump that i didnt have before. dont worry about my set up. thanks.

None taken. Ok, so... dead fish in buckets on Sunday, everything's great on Tues. Forgive me if I'm skeptical. All I'm saying is you might want to slow down and give your system time to stabilize before adding new stuff.

Don't misconstrue this as a personal attack, it's not. It's just some friendly advice from someone who has been there before. That's one benefit from this forum, people helping each other.

being a little stressed right now from school so im sorry if i snapped at you. i wont be getting the frag till the end of the month so i think would be a decent amount of time to wait and make sure its stable.. thanks for the help though. and the tank is back to good standing. except ph is just a little low . everything else is at zero has been for two days since i started running carbon and the sump. but thanks

Pedro is right, patience is key. That's always the #1 thing, and I've been in this hobby 3 years now and still have trouble with #1.

BTW it's weird that you measure pH. I don't think I've ever measured pH before (except for inside my calcium reactor), and I've never had a problem. I've kept my alk and calcium in check, used kalkwasser for a while for calcium alk, but never taken note of pH. Is that necessarily a bad thing?

Sorry for a bit of an offtrack, but I think it might help you with your parameter questions as well.

i just check it every now and then.. first time i checked it in about 6 -7 months. glad i checked it too it was only at 7.0. its back up to 8.2
