Looking for a cheap 48" metal halide fixture

I want to do a test on a metal halides and LEDs and am looking for a cheap MH fixture probably dual 150w lights with t5s. I want to spend around 100-150.

If anyone has a cheap fixture that they are not using, please let me know.

What do you mean? Long as you have good bulbs doesn't it give same amount of power?
This is just for my personal test for sps growth and didn't feel like spending too much.

There may be a reason why its cheap. Crappy ballast and reflectors make a difference too.

Im sure one will turn up, be ready to add a chiller or alot of fans

I'm planning to place it close to 10 inches above the water. Do I still need a chiller or fans up on top? I have a fan on the sump constantly blowing and keeping the temps at 77-79 degrees with quad 4 t5s and LED set up.

If its cheap doesnt mean its crap. I had to practically give a current usa fixture away at $150 2x250mh 4t5 almost new xm bulbs and t5 ati bulbs, had went to led and this was sitting around for 6 months. Paid nearly $875 new

If I don't get a solid offer then I may just abandon this project.

I have one sip. 50 bucks. 2 175 watt ballasts and moguls mounted on a 48" metal strip. The bulbs wotk but probably need to be replaced. Also they are push button to turn on and can not be put on a timer. I can't remember the brand.

Also I am running a halide led split system, I run led for the bulk of the day, with a halide midday blast for 4 hours and its working nicely for me.

Also how come it can't go on a timer? I was planning to put it on an apex.
