looking for a high end auto fish feeder

Hey Kurt I asked the wife if I could stay over those weekends and she said yes!

If I brought the kids with me :thumbdown sorry not interested

See thats the problem i have, most of my friends are single & HMM, big house, hot tub, pool, big screen, wife says by the end of the weekend the house would be trashed & the fish would be dead.

I use feeders cause my baby clownfish need to be fed three times a day, and I work full time. So I have tried a few:

I like the rainbow lifeguard. Plugs in to electricity and has compartments so you can control how much food goes in the tank. I have one that works well, and one that I had to return because it would not work. Still waiting on replacement. If you feed once a day, you can get more than a week out out of it. I feed 3 times a day, so I am always refilling.

Eheim makes on that revolves the canister and the food falls out a tiny door. It has a digital display that makes for precise timing for the feeding. Battery opperated, so that saves a plug. I like it pretty well. Not so precise about how much food goes in the tank.

Hydor makes a similarly operated one that is not very controlable either for the food quantity or the timing. It is cheap, battery operated, and that's the best I can say for it. Not my favorite.

Hope this helps.
Kathy
