For two years now I've bought pumps for my koi pond and they die in a year... maybe I should buy just a Mag drive?? Any suggestions or used submersible pumps out there

Or go to home depot and buy a beckett pump. Same difference really. The beckett will be a little cheaper because they arent manufactured to be salt water tolerant just fresh water.

not sure, it's not huge, but bigger than the biggest preformed. I think ive had sumersibles rated for 700-900 GPH on it in the past, although bigger could also work. What do you have and how much??

hahaha dave say it is a BIG Submersable is the understatment of the century...lol...it is like 4000gph pump....haha it would be so much flow you could probibly make a guizer in yuor back yard.

yea he might be talkin about one of the mag drive pumps he has tho too...lol...but i had to add that cause he has a giant on that is just sittin there.

I've been running a Mag 9.5 in my pond for the past 3 seasons, never had a problem, when it thaws just plug them in...
