what exactly does an orp meter or controller do? i guess what is orp?

Keith, ORP stands for Oxidation-Reduction Potential, in simple words it is a measurement to contaminants oxidation (breakdown)
The ORP controller is usually used in the aquarium trade to control an Ozonizer.

btw does anyone have a packet of the 400ml test solution or know where I can buy one locally? I borrowed Roggers orp controller after cleaning it my orp is at 425 this morning and I havent even turned on the ozone yet.
