Not too good yet with the search. Can someone point me to an area where there is discussion, pros and cons, of different tank sizes for a mixed reef? I'm contemplating an upgrade from my 55 but are there pros and cons between 90, 120, etc? I want to stay at 4 ft long.

Thanks guys!

No tank is ever big enough, eventually.
I started with a 40 , upgraded to 90 and now have a 180. I would go bigger if I had the room. Six foot is the longest that will fit on my available walls.

The difference will be in the width giving you better landscaping choices.
AND of course more water for stability.
Enjoy.

^^^Both of these^^^

I'm stuck at at a standard 120. If my wife would let me cover the (unused) gas fireplace I could easily go 6', and if I were to get rid of a family heirloom cherry hutch I could go 8'.

IMHO, front to back distance is at least as important as the overall length. If you are limited to 4' of width, you could even go with a 4x4 cube and get a 240!
