What do you guys think ould be the best type of light i can get for corals soft and misc fishi have a 92 watt now but need to up grade my inside tank any advice.thanks alot

If you're looking to do soft corals in the beginning with mostly fish, I would consider getting like 2 T5s, since you don't need a ton of light for corals, but if you did end up wanting to upgrade in the future, it would be easy enough to just add another 2 or 4 T5s together, or use those 2 T5s as actinic supplements to MH or something. Lots of places to go.

Just make sure that if you do the 2xT5s that you go with quality first. I'm talking IceCap 660 ballast and IceCap T5 individual reflectors. Maybe even Tek. There are a million ways to do it. Just do it right the first time, going the extra mile and spending the extra dough, as it will save you upgrade headaches and walletaches later on.

i have a 1/2 cylinder tank so i dont have to many options i was looking at the tek 4 or 5 bulb. i only have 36" and about 14 " wide the top is not the norm .i have corals but dont seem to be growing . thanks guys

i agree on the t5's for now so u can still use them once u upgrade ... i went with pc's in the begining and now theyr sitting collecting dust come to think of it i have 2 24" pc's each is 65w x 2 for $70 a piece let me know if your interested :D
