LR from aefw infested tank?

I got a bunch of LR from a guy breaking his SPS tank down. I know for a fact he had flatworms, and having gone through the horror of them twice, I don't want to take any chances of re-infecting my system. There are softies polyps on the rocks, and I want to preserve as much as I can. How long should I quarantine the rock before the flatorms die?

id say minimum 6 weeks maybe more.why not just cook the rock off for 60 days?i am dealing with AEFWs at the moment and plan on leaving my display sps free for 6 weeks while treating.i was told and read that 6 weeks should be plenty of time for the AEFWs to cycle out and die off.

Yeah, I was thinking about cooking them, but some are covered with amazing polyps and mushrooms. Maybe I can chisel them off and go ahead and start cooking the rock.

I would maybe keep the LR in a tub for 6 weeks with a small light over them. Most softies can be kept alive with simple lighting, like the Melev refugium lamps.
