LumenMax vs. LumenArc III

I made a graph to summarize the results of Sanjay Joshi's reflector analysis so as to compare these two reflectors.

It looks like the LumenMax has a very slight edge over the LumanArc III except in the 1'x1' area at 6" and 9". Of course, I don't know who is going to use reflectors of these size to light a 1x1 area, so that data is a little pointless. Otherwise, it's really close enough to be a draw.

Overall, kudos to both Sunlight Supply and Pacific Garden Supply. Both great reflectors.

I'm getting ready to switch out my Reef Optix I's with the new LumenMax reflectors.

I sell both optix 1 and lumenmax and i can tell you that the optix is a better reflector thin the lumenMax.Like speakerguy said it is pointless to have a small reflector and a big one for a test.The smaller ones are going to reflect more power in a smaller area.I would like to see a test with lumanarc 3 and optix 1.
