Macro Algea Replacement for Caulerpa

I had just witnessed my caulerpa (green flat suction cup-looking) going sexual/asexual. I was watching my fish swim around & all of a sudden, BAM! This stuff started pouring out of my caulerrpa everywhere. It looked like it was blowing iits lid.

What are some non-toxic macros that my fish/hermits/crabs/snails can eat that aren't so toxic?

Greetings All !

GaD,

"What are some non-toxic macros that my fish/hermits/crabs/snails can eat that aren't so toxic?"

Gracilaria tikhvaiae (... aka "Ogo" & "Tang Heaven" ...).
Ulva (... aka "Sea Lettuce" ..).

JMO, but I'm not sure that I would characterize any macroalga as completely "non-toxic." Having said that, neither Gracilaria species, nor Ulva species present the sporulation (... "going sexual" ...) problems that Caulerpa species do.

HTH.
