Tom, et al,
anyone have any ideas or tricks about grownig the "red" algaes..
i have had some of what i think was Scinaia. (calcerous red tubular fronds) and recently got something that looks like a Gelidiella sp. (sim to a red mexican caulerpa) Neither of these has lasted too long.. in fact the Gelidiella.. has quickly deteriorated over the last two months or so to half its original size.
Any special water conditions that these species may require that I could try to emulate? They seem to require large amounts of calcium from what i've read,, but i dose bi-weekly w/ Seachem's Reef Calcium
(2 ml _cap fulls_twice a week)
