I have a 400uk gall reef witch is only 18 months old
the mag content is 1200
calcium is 450
DKH is around 10
additions through calcium reactors and a kalkwasser reactor
I can buy magnesium sulphate heptahydrate and magnesium chloride hexahydrate
both at £21 for 4kg from 1st stop aquatics
which appears to be a economical buy as most others in the uk are going to work out very expensive
is it best to use a combination [ and what levels ] of both or just 1 type
I have read your articles but [ being a dummy on this] you mention to use mag chloride and not mag sulphate
whereas in the Wikipedia it refers to using mag sulphate as a addition in reef tanks
[ any help would be appriciated as I am already getting confused ]
