Magnesium supplement expiration?

I purchased esv mag supplement last summer (gallon jug). I went to add a little today and the jug had looked like it separated. It was still liquid but there was a brownish sandy material in the bottom. Does this stuff go bad? if I mix it up will it be ok? or just trash it and get new?

Ive kept them for a while before with no problem but this makes me wonder.

any thoughts?

No, it will never go bad. Just ignore any solid precipitate, and leave it behind if it concerns you.
