magnetic frag rack at MARS?

Those look great for QT or growing out frags. I saw some at MAX that were made of aragocrete that looked really nice in display tanks. Looked like live rock attached to the glass.

Yep, the ones from the alternative reef are pretty slick.

Bodibuilt and I saw some of those down by a town near San Luis Obispo called Orcutt at a great reef shop called Fins and Feathers they had some aggrocrete racks in there 375g SPS/Chalice reef.. It was truly an amazing tank!!!and unfortunately neither of us had cameras with us

I've got two. So far I like them a lot!

The darn ORA plugs don't fit in the ones I bought. I've taken to cutting the bottom off the ORA plugs and gluing them to a standard (Boston Reef Society?) plug.

Sorry, I'll have to dig through my MAX stuff and pictures. The place was selling frag plugs too, those fit perfectly in the holes. These things looked pretty easy to make as well, the standard aragocrete made into shelf-like pieces with magnets pressed into the back and holes poked to fit the plugs. Brian, can you drill the holes bigger with a masonary bit?

Hey Sheila

I didn't want to enlarege the holes on the new magnetic racks. I drilled out the holes in one of the suction cup (soap dish) frag racks I have with a standard drill bit. The ORA plugs now fit in it. When the standard ceramic plugs I ordered arrive I'll cut the bottoms (pegs) off the ORA plugs and glue them into the standard plugs. Hopefully the suction cup racks won't slide down the glass before the ceramic plugs arrive.
