Magnets?

Does anyone know where you can get some magnets. I want to silicone them to my power heads so i can move them around wherever i want. I have seen this done using the glass cleaners, but i think those are too expensive. Wondering if I could find some that are plastic coated or even bare ones and cover them with silicone myself. It's got to be alot cheaper than buying glass cleaning magnets. I have 4 PHs, that can add up.

I wouldn't put any uncoated metal object directly in the tank unless it was titanium or a duplex stainless steel. Most other metals will corrode in saltwater, and possibly poison the animals. Something embedded in a safe plastic should be fine, but it's easiest just to use the magnetic cleaners, IMO.

you may want to test this out first on a cheapo PH as most PHs are driven by electronic(magnetic) motors. i have a feeling that adding a magnet somewhere else on the unit may slow a PHs flow rate.
