Majano anemone

I don't think that was the point of the photograph. I was thinking that at first then noticed what looks like kalk paste all over the front glass (or is that sand???)

If that was the point of the shot, the polyps on the left are zoanthids. The polyps on the right are palythoas.

No, not the polyps. The thing on the top of the rock. Not the zoas. It isn't a zoa because it has moved around more than once. And that isn't kaulk paste. Its dried water from the last addition to my tank, and my camera isn't set up for this kind of stuff, so it might be out of focus.

I've looked at those pics 'till I was cross eyed and didn't see anything but palys and zoos.

So you are telling me that the thing on top of the rock IS NOT a majano? It is on top of the rock. It has moved from one side of the tank to the other about 5 times. I don't want it to be a majano, I just want to be sure.

There is only one. And I would swear on my life it has moved. To new rocks. Not even connected or near the Zoas.

It really is up in the air with that picture. If you can provide a better picture I think people can better identify for sure if it is a majano or not.

I think you have a zoo. I showed you what my majanos looked like. I'd say that unless it looks like a mini BTA that you have a zooanthid.

I believe this is what a single majano would look like, this and about 3 more came in on some live rock i picked up last week.
