Making a LR arch

I want to make an arch using LR, but not sure the best way to go about making it. It is going to be about a 3'-4' wide, with a height of about 12"-18". Any suggestion? Pics of your arch would be helpful too.

I don't know about making one but I bought an arch rock (55 pounds) from Captain Jer at reeferrocks.com and love it. Porous and beautiful base rock. It's going to look awesome when it's fully live in the tank.

At any rate, they do sell arch rocks in case you want to go that route. The fish love it by the way and swim under it all the time. :)

Thanks for the tip, didn't know you could buy them already made.

I got a bunch of extra rock, so hoping to make one using that.

If you want to make one with rock you already have, one method that I know of is by drilling small holes in them, and inserting rigid tubing with epoxy into the holes. You'll want the rigid tubing to be about 1" deep into the rock. Try not to drill the hole bigger than the tubing. Also, it's recommended that a masonary bit be used since those are designed to drill through cement and rocks and stuff.
