mantis and tube anemone

I would like to set up a small tank with a tube anemone and a manitis shrimp will the mantis attck the anemone

I have been interested in doing the same. I find the tube anenomes attractive not only for their vibrant color, but they dont move from where you put them. I just bought a 4 inch Clarkii clown to go with my 6 in peacock in a 26 gal, Today is the first day, we will see what happens tonight... If all goes well, I miht get a tube anenome even though I have read that clarki's dont need anemones...

The clownfish will not host in that kind of anemone but if you do get it and the mantis does fine with it please let me know good luck

I know this thread is pretty much dead, but i was just searching around and basically had the same question, would a tube anemone work with a mantis shrimp? anyone have any new input?

I see no reason why not , unless the mantis feels like rearranging which could turn ugly for the anemone .

I have a small bta with my n wennera, no problems so far. If the tank is big enough it should be fine.
