Mantis & featherduster

Not sure about a peacock, but my G. tern definately ate severay feather dusters in her tank, after they had got big enough to notice (3" or so)...

There are a few feather dusters near the entrance to my mantis's cave and he completely ignores them. I guess it depends on the mantis.

Well I put the feather duster in yesterday & the mantis walked over there and pulled it by the back end, got scared when the crown came out, ran back to his cave and hasn't messed with it since..... Maybe he was just curios about his neighbor.

My brothers peacock mantis decided one night that one of his big ol feather dusters needed a hair cut, and the next morning its feathers were noticably shorter and beat up. Hehe
