Mantis... Hurt?

Iv been hearing clicks out of my new 125 Gal with TBS rock in it ever since we started it... But I had convinced myself it was little pistol shrimp... Well while feeding tonight I saw in a cave a little mantis shrimp... 2 or 3 " but he was just laying on his back moving his legs... I had enough time to move some rocks and catch him with a pair of pinchers and a net and even dropped him a few times... now he is in a holding container.. seems to be moving alittle more... but what could be up with him? Could he have just eaten and is now moving slow?

How could I tell? He is very pretty as all I know.. I was really hoping to get one.. i even have a tank all setup for one I just hope this guy pulls through

Im not touching him he might take my hand off hehe Using my plastic forcepts he seems pretty firm.. He is staying on his back and waving his legs around just alittle curled... is this normal?

Well.. He dident make it through the night... I still wish I knew what happened to him.
