mantis molt

My new (2 weeks now) 4" G Smithi mantis just molted, he seems ok. is this a sign of good health, growth, or stress??? It's his first molt since I have had him.

A G. smithii this size will only molt two or three times a year. If it made it through and starts eating withing 10 days, it should be fine.

he ate about 1/2 a piece of krill last night. I can't get to his molt to remove it from the tank though, he is being very protective of it and I don't want to destroy his cave to get it. Will it be ok to leave it in there with him??
