mantis sand

what kind of sand do mantis shrimp like, how much of it do they like?

Not sure what sand is the best, but I used some black sand that was sold by the pound at the LFS. The sand in my main tank would probablly been better since it was live and it is a fine grain. Mine currently is about 2 inches deep, but I need to make it a couple inches deeper to give him a little more digging room.
