I looking into converting a 29G tank into a Coral Propogation tank (Zoa's mostly).

I know Mantis Shrimp are not reef safe due to their aggressive nature torwards other marine life, but are they safe to keep with Corals?

I recently got a G. chiragra because his previous owner said he was attacking a brain coral. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I just thought I'd warn you that it is a possibility that a mantis would attack coral.

Keep in mind, many mantis will not harm coral, but they will pick up small unmounted pieces to use in burrow construction. They may also attack corals that have hitchhikers on them, like duster worms and clams, in an effort to get at the tasty goody. Coupled with the fact that a mantis would make it difficult or impossible to keep a cleanup crew, I'd say this is a bad idea.
