Mantis??

Trying to ID what I saw come out of my rock. It had white tipped feelers, a body like a fat centipede with a horizontal solid white stripe about half way down the body. Could this be a mantis?

I wish I could get a pic, but it's faster than my digital camera. Does it sound like a mantis?

I also found a green fat centipede roaming inside my tank. He is all green. DonÃ"šÃ‚´t know what to do. Not sure if itÃ"šÃ‚´s a mantis. But from what IÃ"šÃ‚´ve read and the pics IÃ"šÃ‚´ve seen I think I have a mantis. DonÃ"šÃ‚´t know if I have to get it out of my tank. Does everyone take their mantis out of their tanks, mine is a fowlr with future plans on a reef. DonÃ"šÃ‚´t know what to do about him. He is a cool add up to the tank. Yesterday I moved some sand and without knowing I had covered his rock hole. After a few minutes I saw him carrying sand from the inside of his rock to the outside. This was very cool to watch. If it will harm my fish I would certainly try to get him out.
