Maroon clown tank size

Is a 30 gallon too small for a full grown maroon? I have a gbta also.

Probably yes, is it just a single. A single maroon female can easily get over 6-7 inches

Clowns dont tend to swim far from their anemone, I have a 150 gallon aquarium and the clowns never leave a square foot area where their anemone. I have friends that have clowns in 20-30 gallon bio cubes and they are happy as can be. They are not a schooling fish and dont need alot of room to roam.

I have a pair in my 40 breeder. They claimed about 1/3 of the tank and the female won't let my chalk bass anywhere near the male but my mandarin can go where ever he wants.

Maroons don't need as much room as similarly sized clowns in the clarki complex. They tend to stay closer to home.
