Max not wanting to open

I have two max clams that only want to open half of there mantle. If you were to look at it the top portion (left and right) are extended but the bottom (left and right) are retracted in the shell. They have been this way for about a week or so. Tested my water it is fine. My crocea is fully extended so didn't think much of a water problem. I also have a squamosa that is not expanding at all just opens his shell. The last few days I have been giving extra DT's but doesn't seem to be helping. I haven't seen any fish nip or anything. I have the max's on the rocks where they have been for months had the squamosa in the sand but have now raised him on top of a rock now. I did find some really small snails around the edge of the mantle on these three clams 2 days ago and removed them. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it a lot. I really don't want to loose these guys!!!:(

Keep checking for the snails, especially at night. If they are pyramid, they will weaken your clams to the point of death if left unchecked. Do a search, there are pictures floating about. Remove any you find.
