This may be a stupid question but here it goes.
Is there a difference in size of old and new mj1200s. I bought a moded MJ but the pump died. I tried to put the parts on a good used pump I had on hand but the shroud part will not fit. Is this a common problem. I tried the end of the MJ on the broken one and it fit very loose. Has anyone else had this problem. Do need to somehow grind the old MJ back? There realy does not seem to be enough plastic there to realy do that but it may be possible for someone more talented than I.

I have found they are all a little different. Try tappering the shroud around the notches. That way when you put it on it will slowly bend those little hooks back

Yeah, they are a little different. You may also have to remove the O-ring

Yep the oring always gets me. I tend to forget about it.
