I need to know if 1 400watt coral life 10,000k and 2 28watt pc's
over 29gal bowfront will be enough light? I have read that the
coral life bulbs have low PAR. The color is real blue and I do have
some SPS that are doing fine. This will be my first clam and I want to do every thing right.
Thanks,

I don't know the PAR of that bulb, but I know the 175 watt Coralife 10,000k is terrible. I also used it once and hated it. I picked up a 10k Ushio and it looks SO much better!

With 400 watts over that small of a tank, I would *guess* that a clam would be OK despite the poor PAR of the bulb. But, your corals and clams would probably benifit (and look MUCH better) with a good bulb :)

Thanks for the help. I do have 6,500k I could use but it is
a pretty yellow. I might just buy a new brand of 10k.
Thanks for the help agian,
