May 2007 TOTM Revisited

You bet, I'm always around, just not always in front of the tank.

As of today, the 2nd coat of compound is going on the walls and ceiling, so the finishing of the drywall will be done this week (thanks again Paul for the contact indo - I owe you a frag or two!). More pictures to come.

Yep, those are some sweet looking corals.:eek2:

I use the coarse media now, but historically the fine media. I spent $75 on my needle valve from ORG, works well but now I run my CO2 and effluent so fast the needle valve is not that important. Give me another week or two and you will have to come over and see the tank...more pictures will follow, have 90% of the drywall up.

Thanks Dave I have replaced the needle valve and added a ball valve before the reactor. I will PM about tank visit - would love to come and see it!

Stay tuned for some more pics! The basement reno is coming to and end....finally.

I will grab some more pics tomorrow. Carpet goes in Saturday and I finally pulled the trigger on the home theatre system! Should have most of it home Saturday.

Well - I am 98% done. Just have to fill some nail holes, paint one door and complete a couple touch ups and I am all done! All the oak is around the tank and the home theater is essentially all installed and ready to go. Nice to have some carpet under my feet rather than concrete, but now I have to mind those wet hands...

Room is the shape of an L - tank one one side, the fireplace directly opposite the tank, and the TV in the opposite end. Here it is...finally!

All the AV equipment is in the room behind the TV - no unsightly stuff to look at...

And oh ya, the tank. Time to start giving it some TLC!

I don't think it needs anymore TLC.:p It looks amazing right now! Wow, I have been waiting for this and thank you so much for the pics of everything! Basement looks fantastic and so does your tank. Great job!
