May Meeting

Just wanted to put my "feelers" out there and see if anyone would be interested in having our May meeting at Just Pets in Appleton, WI. Craig Weborg the owner has offered his facility to us. He would offer special pricing to our group during the meeting and would also like to take a poll of which stock items we would like to see more of. He is a friend of mine and just made the suggestion. Any ideas?

Ask him if he would kindly scrape the 1.99 off the live brine shrimp. I bought some last weekend after the meeting, the young lady there charged me 2.99 - :(

I bought 5 portions, almost chocked when I was over 15$.

Two things...I don't "work" for Craig, I just know him. Also, did you mention the error to the clerk? I know that the reef club gets special pricing.
 
I would be open to a meeting there. It's not a big deal to me since I live so close, but not sure how others would feel who'd have to drive farther about a 6pm Sunday evening meeting. That's the time it would have to be, right?

I had prepared a lengthy answer to the original question in this space, but deleted it because I cound not edit it to make it read and sound polite. It wasn't my feelings from the previous message either, and I just plain old don't want to be rude.

I am sorry to hear that Jason. I did not take your comments as being rude or not polite. Besides I am merely taking a "poll" if you will because I would like to host a meeting, but my home is way to small for over 5 people. (ha ha) I just thought this would be a fun opportunity for me to do so. Thus Craig would not be hosting the meeting, I would. He would just simply be lending me the space. Thanks for your response.

He has been trying to get in a bigger assortment of items. Since he moved he added more saltwater and reef tanks to his system. He is also now carrying dry goods. He told me that he his will to meet/beat all other pricing. He has been getting some different things. He has special ordered many differnt things for me.
 
Depending on what day the meeting would be I would attend. Sounds like a cool idea having the meeting there.
 
Brine shrimp have been 2.99 since they started carrying them, I don't know why they would be marked otherwise...
 
No John actually you are wrong...Craig agreed to match all pricing and Pet Supplies Plus is selling Brine for $1.99/portion....however, this issue was already taken care of with Craig. I am suprised he did not tell you about yesterday when you were at work. PS are meeting times vary..This one will be Sunday May 14 at 4:00 pm.
 
Double check with Craig...but the reef club does recieve a discount...besides I believe he changed it in December of last year.
 
I'd be interested in attending.

If he is going to be price matching he is going to need to have some assorted (SPS, LPS, & softies) coral frags starting at $12.99.

14th does not work for me (Mothers Day).
Sunday before or after the 14th works though.
