OK, since we are all from the area, would you like each other to be first contacts for area scoops and frag trades without fees?
Can I be, like, in someone's buddy list perhaps?
We can contact each other for help, then escalate to forums, or do a bit of both at the same time.
What do you all think?

as I said above you ought to check out the two local area clubs...
WAMAS (of which I'm a member...) is have a social this saturday... check out the website for more details...
We usually have meetings ~1/month... (some official like the social, some unofficial like food making, or building parties) at those meetings there is always frag trading/selling, and most likely there is a thread about what is going to be traded at our website.
Now that being said, we do charge a $20/year fee for members. That gets you in free to all the meetings (inlcuding a great list of speakers, frag trades, water testing, and discounts at many local stores)... well worth the $20 if you ask me.
I'm not trying to discourage you, just there are allready existing networks doing just what you say in this area.

I am in DC and a member of WAMAS!
i was rather upset that i couldn't make it to the Social....stupid maintenance window for a west coast data-center of ours....do any of you guys frag your corals often? or have any that you would like to sell / trade (well i really only have a few mounted frags of kenya...but i do need to start getting rid of it, it just takes over!!)? Hopefully i can make the next wamas meeting and meet some of you guys...
