PeppermintStone... I just received a couple of captive bred seahorses from MDL that were extemely healthy. They were very active and ate just as soon as they were introduced to the tank. For a species that often has problems with eating, acclimation, etc., I'd give them a big two thumbs up for the health of their livestock!
The fact that they mistakenly sent one of them of the wrong species is another story entirely. It's how they handle this one that will make or break them in my book. In all fairness, they DID send a more expensive pony, the Pot Belly / h.abdominalis (which is drop dead gorgeous, but requires temps of 66F to 72F) instead of the mate for the female erectus.
