Good day, I have a problem with the mechanical filter comline in an reef Aquarius.
the escape of the filtered water emits continuously many smallest air bubbles.
I have tried to fill up the water bell before insert the filter without solution
Filter Comline with osmolator
Pump Tourbelle 1600/2
Thanks in advance

There are a few possibilities. First, the cartridge is still somewhat new and has air inside it. See if after 48 hrs the problem does not go away. The cartridge is dirty, they must be changed or rinsed every week. The water level is not correct, if you have the osmolator on this should not be an isssue. The last possibility is a water chemistry issue. With strong light and a high photosynthetic activity the water becomes saturated with Oxygen and degasses in the partial vaccuum of the pump, reducing the light interval or intensity and increasing flow will alleviate this problem. Also, it is possible a very high KH shifts the equilibrium of CO2 to the point that CO2 is degassing the same way. Check that the KH is below 12dKH.

thanks for the answer,
i think that is a problem of chemistry of the water like you say you.
The problem is oxygen saturation, the effect increases with increasing of the hours of light, with corals is a problem to diminish the hours of light

It likely will do no harm but you could improve the situation by using the 871 cartridge with macro wadding or only the foam core 800.14. The less resistance from these set ups will stop the bubbles. You could also try to remove some of the algaes.

these the tests that I have carried out :

1 ) only core foam 800.14

2) foam 800.14 whith filterin fiber 800.10

3) only fiber filtering 800.10

the better result I have obtained it with only fiber filtering 3) but the problem it remains

Problem with osmolator.

Problem with osmolator.

Hello everyone. I am having a serious problem with my tunze osmolator. It appears as if the sensor is not picking up the water level whatsoever. I've taken the sensor out, cleaned it, and to no avail. Even when out of water the controller shows my water as being level.I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again and that doesnt work. What do I do? I've only had this thing for 2 months. Any help is greatly appreciated.

hello,
council to make you to audit centralinae and the sensors from the Tunze.
If the product is new you they change in guarantee
