Media Tray

I am sure there are a lot of folks out there using a DIY sump or bought one from another source. Mine is DIY and I have incorporated a "Media Tray" in the flow of things. Who else has a media tray and what do you run in yours? Do you use it continuously or only when you think something needs attention. What products have you found to be the best all round or individual medias available? Only Carbon? Phos remover? Just floss? There are so many medias out there and they all claim to be the best. Sooner or later We all find out which is REALLY the best. Have you?

I use a bag of carbon and on top of that I have poly filters. I also use phosban, but I keep that in plastic cup that I cut the bottom of of sitting under the output of my skimmer.
