Megaflow Box Question for All Glass Tanks with a Sea Swirl Twist

So I want to run a sea swirl on my new 90 gl tank with the mega flow over flow box and I want to cap off that hole in the glass at the bottom of the tank so that I can run the return line outside the back of the tank to the sea swirl, but I am not seeing how to cap or close that hole. Any one have experience in this? Thanks

Install the bulkhead supplied with the megaflow and glue a PVC plug in the hole.

u already have the hole just plumb it like its a drain

No durso pipe, just plumb it so water drains from it? What benefits would I see from doing it that way? Larger pump, more water turnover?

look up herbie overflow system, or just use a straight pipe w no durso end,say an inch above your existing durso, for an emergency drain, in case something clogs the main drain.
