Melted Tunze power cord

My tunze's power cord got melted by my heater. Thanks to my wife. It is the 120V AC model instead of the 12V. It was melted through the outside black plastic close to the unit itself (i.e. it will be under water) and one of the wires underneath was also melted with the wire exposed. The other wires are OK so the unit will no short out with the power on. Is there a way to re-seal it without trashing it? Silicone, epoxy etc???

No, the motor has to be replaced, I will discount a new motor but under no circumstance should that motor be used.

Can you let me know how much the replacement motor for a 6080 is going to be and how to order it. Do you want the old motor back in order for me to get the discounted price?
