mercury in tank?

had a disaster event this week end and ended up with a broken thermometer (cheap glass kind with red fluid for reading temp, approx 15 years old) and wonder what effect this will have on livestock as i add them, especially corals. tank is 450 gallon, with a total of 700 gallons with sumps.thanks

the red fluid isn't mercury. Mercury is always silver. It is likely just alcohol or a related organic compound. So don't worry about that part of the accident.
