mermaid's wine glass availability

Gulf coast is the only place I know.. I had a thread on this not too long ago.. "experience with acetabularia?". Oh, Neomeris is spindleweed.. I think its pretty close to Acetabularia calyculus (the mermaid's wine glass) but has a tufted appearance of spike like structures at the top, not a little umbrella.
Russ at Gulf Coast told me a few weeks back he expected to have it again in about a month. Chuck thinks it might be seasonally available.

UTEX seems to have a few species of Acetabularia available, including A. calyculus.

Careful what you wish for, both of these genra are very weedy in reef tanks.
I have pics of a poor SPS 240 and a refugium overtaken by Neomeris.
Mermaid's wine glass is a extremely weedy and blooms up and then dies way back for most of the year. Blooms in the summer months when the water is fairly stagnant.
Hard to maintain nice groups without invading other spots.
If they could be controlled better, both make nice additions.
I've grown both for a number of years, but I do not keep corals, only plants/macros.

I still haven't had any luck finding this in stock or at a place that looks reliable.
Plantbrain if you have any of this "weed" in surplus, pm me and I'm sure we could work out something.
My main reef is still a planted/softie/sps mix and while there are good months and bad months, I love the 'natural' look and feel of the tank still.

I should have no problems giving work the slip on Friday the 15th.
