Metal Halide Question

I have a question and I know some of you are experts so......

I have 3x 175 halides and my question is if I were to come accross a good deal on some 250 bulbs would they work and if so would they work as good as a 175.

Also would they try pulling too much juice and burn up my ballast?

250's wont even fire on your ballast. Your ballast puts out 175 watts...that's it. If you want 250's, you need new ballasts.

Take a look at them Iwasaki 14k 175's, if you're looking for a good bulb.
