MH 175 Watt Recommendations

It's time to changeout my EVC 14K, 175 watt bulb and am looking for something with slightly less blue and also with more PAR.

I looked at the Aqua 2 but its a little to pricey for me. How about the Reeflux 12K or other bulbs in this range?? What are the recommendations? I would appreciate input from people who have tried a few different bulbs to get opinions based on their experience with several options.

Are you considering 10k bulbs or trying to stay with 14k? I would look at the XM 10k bulb for white color and more par.

Check out Premium aquatics website, the have a new 175w that is supposed to be blowing the socks off 250w bulbs!

Yes, thats it. I was thinking about adding 2 to my tank, and having them on for about 3 hours. to simulate a noon time sun..? BTW, I run 400w 20k xms. and have not run 250s in 2 years.
