MH bulb in a HPS light fixture?

Im able to get 175W (mogul base) High pressure sodium securiy light fixtures for about $30 a piece.They are compact and look very nice. Do MH bulbs (same wattage) work with these fixtures? Ive heard that there are also conversion bulbs from sodium to halide. What do u think?

they do make conversion bulbs, but not in the color range we use.

so its pretty much useless then. All I could do is take out the ballast and replace it with mh one, but thats prob. not worth it.
