Sorry, this is going to go on a 36 inch 46 gallon bowfront i will be getting a 14k phoenix and 2 tru actinic t5's

ok good...because MH over that brace would make a shadow.
Do you intend to keep SPS \ Clams? is your canopy fan cooled?

I don't have a canopy right now and am going to probably going to build my own and put fans in it. Also, i am not specifically planning on keeping sps or clams right away, but might in the future. I have some friends who keep sps very well under just 4 X 39 t5s to i figured 2 t5s and a 150 mh would be enough.

well...i would do 175w just in case..it will be brighter too. the tank is about 20" high right?

Ok, I am buying this from someone who bought it but then decided to upgrade their tank before using it so i dont have much choice on th bulb, but maybe when i need to replace the bulb.

ohh...i see the ballasts will fire both...so yeah - no problem.
Should be a nice little setup.
