MH upgrade question

I have a $400 credit with Hamilton Technology. I Currently have 4-95w VHO's on my 65gal reef and plan on housing more SPS.

Hamilton wants $1092 for a deluxe system with 2-250w 65k's and 2 VHO's-----both electronic ballasts with their hammertone reflector. Even with my credit the system comes out to $675!!

Do you think this would be worth the money?
Any suggestions on a cheaper alternative from Hamilton?

I'm a little confused on what to buy, any help would be greatly appreciated

seems high to me. I paid 280 for my 4 bulb vho system that came complete with endcaps, bulbs they whole 9 yards. Then my dual 250 watt pfo pulse start system cost around 300 with out bulbs. I was able to get 2 used 65k's for 30 bucks so i think i came out pretty good.

buy your lights elsewhere and get your bulbs from them. I found a really cheap place for MH. E-mail me for details

OK, forget about Hamilton---What is the best dual 250watt lighting setup for a 65gal reef that measures 36x18x24 (I have a 5"DSB)

Another person's behavior on this site should have no effect on me. I've been a paid member, and behaved one for a few years. Yes, I know that person, and yes he is a freak. Do what you have to do and kick him off the site. I even reported his posts to you. If you sent me a PM instead of this attempt to embarrass me publically, I would have explained. Nice dective work
