Okay, I'm going to try and keep this simple. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
I was given two balasts:
Blueline -Electronic- 250w
Universal Lighting Tech. -Magnetic- 250w
I was given three 250w bulbs
2-Aqualine 10,000
Reefgrow 20,000
The Universal Lighting balast works great with the Reefgrow bulb. With the aqualine it gets very close to full burn and then the bulb shuts off.
The Blueline balast won't work at all with the Reefgrow bulbs but will start up with the Aqualine...but when near full burn the bulb begins to flicker like a strobe light.
ANY IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING?
