I recently purchase an Aqua-C EV-180 skimmer and have been running it external with a Mag 7. It seems to be running OK but I have a ton of micro-bubbles that I can't seem to get rid of. I have the output of the skimmer (1" bulkhead) dumping into an open PVC T which returns the water to the sump. Then PVC tube opening is about 2 inches below the water level.
Is there something that I could possibly fit over the PVC tubing like a sock or filter to reduce the micro-bubbles??
