Micro bubbles... Will this work

I have a small pin hole leak around one of my pvc fittings. Can I put vasiline on the fitting to seal it? I know the best way is to remove the pipe, retorque the fitting with new tape/ silicone; but the bubbles are so minor that it really doesnt warrant that much work at this time...... Maybe later if it really gets on my nerves I'll take it apart and do it right... Just looking for a quick solution.

How about patching it with some PVC cement?

can I just add that to the exposed threads?

Hmm, didn't realize it was on the threads. I suppose you could try it but it will only be a patch. In addition, it may ruin the threads permenantly so if you wanted to redo it later on you may have to replace that fitting too.

What about using some of that two part marine epoxy?

Its not too hard to fix it right....
