I recently purchased a micromussa colony about 4 weeks ago and it has done nothing but show signs of deminishing. I have move it all over the tank from high light to lower light and it stiff is unhappy. I have dipped it in iodine a few weeks ago. Everything else in the tank looks great, acan lords, acan echinatas, duncans, favias, euphyllias, and so on. I know that micros are supposed to be bullet proof but what gives? Should i continue dipping the coral?

I had a problem with one colony with the tissue receding, i did dip it then fragged off all the receding part and it turned around on me. Doing well now

Same is happening with an lord colony, came in looked fine, and never puffed out since some cyano tried to take it over. So an iodine dip will do it some good?

i just dipped it again. I am going to dip it everyday for a week and see if tha kicks the bug. Let's hope so. This is a 75 plus polyp micro colony.
