If they are newly attached and not grown out over the glue I use a small bone cutter and get right up under the micro on the glue and usually it pops right off without touching the frag, just kind of popping it off the glue. I have squeezed to hard and crushed a polyp before so be very careful when applying pressure. If it does not pop quickly for me I dremel off the plug leg so it is on a flat disc only and putty/glue down to a rock I like for it and later it will grow over the disc and onto the rock. I sometimes make a little platform for it to grow down out of putty. Not pretty for a while but eventually it will get grown over.
i'm no expert but i've been cutting the plug part off and then super glueing the disk part to the rock. after it is stuck whear i wont it i epoxy around the disk to give a smooth transition to the rock. the epoxy gets coverd with algea pretty quickly so it's not a big eye soar witch i was worried about at first.
i pop mine off and remount mine by using the tip of an exacto knife and once the tip is good and jammed under the frag i just twist the handle it works every time.
If it is a big enough colony I use a wet/tile saw. I have seen much greater success and recovery rates with this method. Use the thinnest blade you can find and it will cause the least amount of stress to teh corals.
